How are End of Life Doulas different than hospice?
We are not affiliated with any hospice, however, we work in compliment with their services, if present.
Clients can work with us as early as they are ready to - we have experience with clients as short as a few days, and as long as over a year. We are not restricted by the eligibility boundaries. We are able to offer holistic modalities for symptom management such as guided imagery, healing energy work, use essential oils, rituals and ongoing legacy projects.
We are a personal service that provides consistency to our clients.
Are your services covered by insurance?
We are a fee for service provider outside the scope of insurance, however, we can work with clients on a sliding scale as we believe everyone should have a doula supported death.
What type of payment is accepted?
We accept cash, check, PayPal or Venmo.
Did you receive special training?
Yes, our Doulas have received training and certification through the International End of Life Doula Association - www.INELDA.org
Are you associated with any religious organization(s)?
A Peaceful Passing is not associated with any religion nor has a religious agenda. However, we respect our client's religious beliefs and needs, and will incorporate these into our services when requested.
