Supportive Services

Our services can enhance any care plan of either curative or palliative nature while complimenting hospice services to help create a peaceful passing. Each visit, or session, is tailored to each client based on where the person is in the dying process, and the amount of support the family/caregivers need during the dying process.
Some of the things we can provide during our sessions are:

Begin to explore the dying person's life, to bring meaning and awareness of their impact

One hour consultation to meet and see how we can support you and your family/caregiver on this journey
You will see from the list above, that the sessions can be varied. Following the initial consultation, the sessions are personalized for each client based on where the person is in the dying process, and the amount of support the family/caregivers need during the dying process.

Bedside Support
​
When the dying process begins, sometimes there is a need for bedside doula support. A family/caregiver may need help understanding what to expect.. sometimes they may need respite to take a moment for themselves, or sometimes they may just need a reassuring presence to help them through this time.
​
Daily supportive care visits either all at once, or broken into shifts to offer the best support depending on your individual situation during the active stage of dying and through death.
Bedside Supportive Care pricing and details are as follows:

Supportive Care - Tier 1
​
Up to 5 days of vigil support -
2 hours per day

Includes 24 hour on-call support.

Guided imagery and meditation for the dying, as well as their care givers, if needed.

Support and guidance to ensure the vigil plan is carried out as intended.

Anticipatory grief work with family and/or care givers.

3-6 weeks after the death, the Doulas will meet with the loved ones to reprocess the experience and provide beginning grief support and resources.
Best for individuals with a large support system that may need minimal guidance.
5 days @ 2 hours per day - $800
Supportive Care - Tier 2

4 hours per day
